My Halloween Night
I wish I could write a little bit more
about my Halloween then I’m going to do but the thing is that I’m not able to remember
all of it what if you asked me is kind of a sign for a great night…
First of all it was really hard to decide
to which Halloween party I wanted to go because nearly every club/pub in London
did a Halloween Night. After a few struggles my friends and me decided to go to
the Milkshake Halloween event in the “Electric” in Brixton which was definitely
the right choice! (Later more about that)
So for a Halloween party you need a costume
don’t you. This year I decided to go as a cat because well I like cats and I didn’t
really had time to think of something else… But I’m not so good with doing my make-up
and all of this but thank god I have some great friends to help me with that.
Two other Au Pair and I had kind of a pre party before the real party. There we
made our make-up and got the last details done for our costumes and of course
we had some alcohol. If you go out in London or any other big city with
expensive alcohol you should make sure to take some pre night drinks. If you
buy normal bottles of alcohol it is way cheaper and you get way faster drunk …
or at least you get easier in to the party mood.
At half past 9 or something we were pleased
with our look and alcohol level and we were done with listening to nearly every
One Direction song :D So it was time to go trick or treating… Well sadly most
of the families put their pumpkin back inside the house and nobody opened the door
for us. Accept one man… he gave us some sweets and a bottle of Pepsi. Bless him!
Now to the real party…We arrived at 11pm I
think… although I’m not really sure. But I remember that in the beginning there
weren’t that much people. It was easy to dance and you had space! Later it got
crazy!! There were so many people and everyone was dressed!!! It was amazing. I
saw a few Super Heroes, skeletons and people with an amazing creepy make-up.
And the music was great too. You could dance and sing along to it. All I can
say is that it was one of the best parties I went to and although I can’t recall
every single detail I remember that I had fun which is the most important part isn’t
it ;)
Sushi for Recovering
After I got over the Halloween-Hangover it
was time for an After-Party on Monday…. There is this website called
groupon.co.uk (go check it out it’s awesome) where I found an all-you-can-eat
sushi thing for 4 persons for 56£. So guess where we went on Monday. The
restaurant was called Sushicafe in Clapham. It was really nice there and the
food was delicious. We ordered three times food and every time we tried something
new. My favourite were the Spring Rolls and of course the sushi… it was so
tasty and I love it how sushi makes you feel full but in a good way. You know
it’s kind of a light way of feeling full :P. But in my opinion without the
groupon it would have been a little bit expensive… because on the other hand
the stuff was a little bit strange…They couldn’t answer our questions and they
had problems with understanding us and we had problems with understanding them…
But it was still a great night out and I’m going to go there again J
